When I Get Married

bar

When I get married you wait and see
I'll have a man that really loves me.
He'll bring me flowers and roses galore
Diamonds and emeralds and much more.

He'll do all the housework, and never complain
He'll always attend to my aches and pains
He'll pick up the dishes and wax the floor
And when he's finsihed he'll ask to do more.

When I get married you wait and see
I'll have a man that just adores me
He'll bring me chocolates and wine
He'll never be late, but always on time.

He'll tend to the children should I have some
And he won't ever cuss if he smashes his thumb
He'll do all the shopping and baking and such
And create great dishes, with out a fuss.

When I get married you wait and see
I'll have a man that caters to me
There's nothing I'll want for nothing I'll need,
he will sit on the bed and to me he'll read.

He'll work all day and make money to boot
and come home and give me all of the loot
He'll never ask me to do any work,
he would never be such a jerk.

When I get married you wait and see
I'll have a man that won't lie to me
He'll always be honest, and terribly true
He'll never do anything that would make me quite blue.

He'll plant me rose bushes and build me a swing
He'll let me do almost anything
He'll tell me to spend all his hard earned cash,
while he is out mowing the grass.

Well, I have to go in now you see
I hear my mommy she's calling me
When I get married you wait and see
My daddy will do all these things for me.
