I don't expect to have a lot of well wishers on this page; and I'm sure there will be some feedback on it. But, I don't care, my web page my words; my thoughts and my feelings. I am so sick and tired of hearing people bash President Bush and the war in Iraq. I don't know why people can't understand that it sometimes a necessity to have war. Even the Bible says "There will be wars and rumors of wars". If it's good enough for the Bible it's good enough for me.

I would much rather see it fought over there then in the United States. And there is already so much evil in this world and these people, the good well meaning people of Iraq deserve as much freedom as we do. The children deserve to play unhindered by gun fire, the women deserve to vote and to be free from fear of rape and torture. This page didn't start out to be a documentary on war, it was meant originally as a tribute to my husband, sons, father-in-law, grandfather-in-law, daughter-in-law and others that I have known in my life who gave up part or all of their life for you and me. I know, a lot of people say, "Well they knew what they were getting into when they joined". Yes, they did, and still they went. I can guarantee you it wasn't to get rich. You would be amazed at the number of enlisted men and their families who depend of Food Stamps, WIC and the like to make ends meet. What I really want to say on this page is a huge Thank You to those who are away from their families and miss the birth of babies, birthdays, anniversaries and graduations.

And most of all a thank you to some very important people in my life:
    Pvt.Maurice C.Martin U.S. Army WW1 (Deceased)
Ltc.Jason H. Martin Sr. U.S. Army 32 Years Intelligence (Deceased)
Ltc.Jason H. Martin Jr. U.S. Army 24 Years (Aviation) (ROTC Instructor)
PO 3 John M. Mahalko U.S. Navy 14 Years (Communications)
Yeoman Paul B. Frusha U.S. Navy 3 Years (Civilian)
PO 3 Alicia M. Mahalko U.S. Navy 10 Active (Reserves)
Herman L. Welch U.S. Army (Not sure of length)

And to my 4 brothers who served in Air Force (2) Navy (1) And Louisiana National Guard (1)

Thank you all for giving your time, energy, patriotism, and the love of God and Country that you all displayed and still display. This page is for you and all that you gave to keep us safe.

I Love You
Kathalise
